The Emam Organization is pleased to announce the official call for applications to join Egypt’s COP30 & SB62 Preparation Team. This team will serve as the recognized national working group dedicated to contributing to the upcoming United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30) and the 62nd session of the Subsidiary Bodies (SB62).
Selected applicants will have the unique opportunity to participate virtually in the global climate negotiation process, representing the efforts and perspectives of Egyptian youth and civil society.
About the Team
This initiative aims to mobilize a highly qualified, multidisciplinary team that will engage in:
- In-depth research and climate policy analysis
- Drafting position papers and contributions to global discussions
- Creating awareness and educational materials
- Representing Egypt’s civil society in online UNFCCC events
While participation in COP30 and SB62 will be conducted entirely online, this working group will operate from within Egypt, ensuring consistent engagement and collaboration throughout the project duration.

- Application Deadline: 21 May 2025
- Project Commencement: 6 July 2025
- Project Conclusion: 25 November 2025
Important Application Guidelines
To maintain the integrity and professionalism of the selection process, applicants must adhere to the following conditions:

Strict Prohibition on AI Usage:
- All responses must be written solely by the applicant.
- Applications suspected of AI-generated content will be permanently disqualified.

Mandatory Completion of All Fields:
- Incomplete applications will not be considered.
- Originality and sincerity in responses are essential.

Self-Funded Participation for Non-Cairo Residents:
- Please note that the Emam Organization will not cover transportation or accommodation costs for applicants residing outside Cairo.

Online Participation Only:
- Team members will join all international sessions remotely.
- There is no international travel involved in this role.
