About the Event
As part of the official program of the Third United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC3), EMAM Organization, in collaboration with European and International Affairs at the Innovation Laboratory of the French Ministry of Ecological Transition, will host the virtual side event:
"AI for Ocean Conservation: Enhancing Ocean Health through Digital Innovation."
This high-level session will bring together international experts, youth leaders, researchers, and institutional actors to explore how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be harnessed to achieve Sustainable Development Goal 14: Life Below Water. Discussions will cover cutting-edge applications of AI in ocean monitoring, sustainable aquaculture, pollution detection, and marine governance, with a strong emphasis on equity, inclusion, and capacity building, particularly in the Global South.
