Since 2017, EMAM Organization, in strategic partnership with Bank Elkesaa, has led a transformative initiative titled "اكفل مرأة معيلة" a program designed to empower women who are the primary breadwinners for their families in Egypt’s Gharbeia Governorate.
This groundbreaking project has directly impacted the lives of more than 400 women, providing them with professional training, sustainable employment, and the confidence to build a better future.
A Purpose-Driven Partnership
The "اكفل مرأة معيلة" project was born out of a shared vision: to support Egyptian women facing economic hardship with the tools and skills they need to thrive. Through EMAM’s grassroots presence and Bank Elkesaa’s social investment, the program turned this vision into a practical, life-changing solution.
Skills First, Opportunity Next
Each participant begins their journey with practical training in sewing and textile production, delivered by experienced professionals. Once skilled, they are offered employment in a locally established textile workshop, equipped with high-quality sewing machines and materials provided through the project.
This model doesn't stop at education it creates real jobs, allowing women to immediately apply their skills in a supportive, income-generating environment. The result is long-term empowerment, not short-term aid.

Over the course of seven years, the project has:
